Beveraly Esau-Bridgewater, 53, of Paul M. Pearson Gardens housing community, was arrested Feb. 13 and charged with third-degree assault. Bail was set at $25,000.

Simon James Hodge, 23, of Bordeaux, was arrested Friday and charged with aggravated assault and battery. Bail was set at $1,000.

Paul Francis, 47, of Lindbergh Bay, was arrested Friday and charged with third-degree assault. Francis was arrested by warrant in connection with an incident that occurred in Bordeaux on April 15, according to the police arrest log. Bail was set at $25,000.

Kenford Harry, 34, of Bergs Home, was arrested Saturday and charged with second-degree assault — domestic violence. No bail was set per the domestic violence statute.

Tyler Davis, 28, of Mahogany Run, was arrested Sunday and charged with second-degree assault — domestic violence. No bail was set per the domestic violence statute.

Charged: Child abuse

Delores Nisbett, 33, of Bovoni, was arrested Sunday and charged with child abuse in connection with an incident that had occurred the day before at Hertz Rental Car, according to the police arrest log. Bail was set at $60,000.

Charged: Destruction of property

William Paul Haggarty, 30, of no fixed address, was arrested Feb. 13 at Schneider Hospital and charged with destruction of property. Bail was set at $500.

Charged: Larceny

Elvyn Gumbs, 61, of Hospital Ground, was arrested Friday and charged with petit larceny in connection with an incident that occurred Feb. 13 at Lockhart Gardens. Bail was set at $500.

Carl Fleming Jr., 26, of Anna’s Retreat, was arrested Sunday and charged with grand larceny in connection with an incident that occurred Feb. 11 at Chester’s Chicken in Smith Bay. Bail was set at $20,000.

Charged: Firearm possession

Carl Fleming Jr., 26, of Anna’s Retreat, was arrested Sunday and charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm, possession of ammunition, and aggravated assault and battery. Bail was set at $50,000.

Charged: Rape

Rhyeim Moncherry, 19, of Estate Whim, was arrested Feb. 8 and charged with first-degree aggravated rape, domestic violence. Moncherry was arrested pursuant to a warrant signed by Magistrate Judge Miguel Camacho, regarding an incident that occurred on Jan. 9, according to the police arrest log. The V.I. Code requires that individuals charged with crimes of domestic violence be held without bail until they can appear before a judge, but the police arrest log lists Moncherry’s bail amount as $150,000.

Charged: Burglary

DeQuan Forde, 21, a prisoner at Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility, was arrested by warrant Feb. 8 and charged with first-degree burglary in connection with an incident that occurred on June 1, according to the police arrest log. Bail was set at $100,000.

Charged: Assault

Khary Williams, 39, of Tamarind Estate, was arrested Feb. 8 and charged with third-degree assault. Bail was set at $40,000.

Asheem Charles, 34, of Peter’s Rest, was arrested Feb. 10 and charged with first-degree assault. Charles was arrested by warrant in connection with an incident that occurred on Dec. 9 at Cloud 9 Ultra Lounge, according to the police arrest log. Bail was set at $75,000.

Nela Leo, 48, of Profit Hill, was arrested Feb. 15 and charged with third-degree assault after she stabbed a woman with a knife, leaving an approximately four-inch long wound on the right side of her body, according to the police arrest log. Bail was set at $25,000.

Jimmy Navarro, 44, of Estate Campo Rico, was arrested Feb. 9 and charged with destruction of property — domestic violence. Navarro cut a woman’s couch with a knife and damaged a window, according to the police arrest log. No bail was set per the domestic violence statute.

Alfred John, 58, of Mt. Washington, was arrested Feb. 12 and charged with second-degree animal abuse, and first-degree and second-degree animal neglect. Police said they found three dogs tied to abandoned vehicles in John’s yard without food or water, one of which had died. The two surviving dogs were brought to the animal shelter, police said. Bail was set at $1,000.
