UVI board of trustees: The University of the Virgin Islands board of trustees will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Great Hall of the North West Wing on the St. Croix campus. The meeting will convene with regular session agenda items. UVI President Dr. David Hall will give his first President's Report to the board.
Class cruise: St. Croix Central High School PTSA invites members, alumni and students to participate in the 2010 class and alumni cruise. For information, e-mail stxchsptsa@hotmail.com or call 692-9558.
Jurors: Jurors who served at the District Court of the Virgin Islands, Division of St. Croix, for the period of June through September 2009 can pick up checks from the Clerk's office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Adopt-A-Family: The Department of Human Services' Division of Children and Family Services is coordinating its third annual Adopt-A-Family Program. Community sponsors and families are asked to provide a great Thanksgiving and Christmas for a less fortunate family. There are many ways you can help. Depression & Bipolar Support: Depression and Bipolar Support meetings will be held at 6 p.m. this and every Wednesday at the St. Croix Christian Church classroom located next to the Caribbean Community Theater and behind Pueblo East. Women's Coalition: The Women's Coalition of St. Croix's support group for adult survivors of incest meets from 6 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday at the Women's Coalition. For information, call 773-9272.
- The Women's Coalition of St. Croix's support group for victims of domestic violence meets from 5:30 to7:30 p.m. Mondays in English at the Women's Coalition.
- The Women's Coalition of St. Croix's support group for teen victims of sexual assault meets from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. every Thursday at the Women's Coalition.
- Parenting education classes are held from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Lorraine Village Community Center. For information, call Clema Lewis or Andrea Petersen at 773-9272.
