Hole-in-one halos
Angelic Hole-in-One Halos to Julie and Peter Caproni and all the members of the St. Thomas/St. John Golf Association for their hard work, time and effort that made the 17th annual St. Thomas/St. John Open Golf Tournament Fundraiser such a success. We are so grateful that Kidscope was chosen to be the recipient of the fundraiser this year. We are forever grateful to you all for taking a chance on us, supporting us, believing and having faith in our commitment to assist, empower and heal children and the families in our community. Blessings.Â

DMV problem solved
I recently had a rather minor but complicated issue with the Department of Motor Vehicles. I turned to Sen. Craig Barshinger's office and had the good fortune to get the patience, understanding and help of two very kind ladies on his staff. Ms. Callwood in his St. Thomas office was the first person I encountered when I called the senator's office.Â
After explaining the nature of my problem, she calmed my concerns and referred me to Mrs. Stephen in the senator's St. John office.Â
Both ladies worked with tremendous efficiency in contacting the appropriate people in DMV to bring a positive conclusion to my improbable dilemma.Â
My thanks to them both. They reflect all the good Sen. Barshinger is doing for the community. Best of luck to the senator on his bills: 28-0078 (property tax) and 28-0101 (ferry bill).Â
