Garfield-Harrigan
Services will be held Friday for Julia Louise Garfield-Harrigan, who died Oct. 11, 2009.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Turnbull's Funeral Home. A musical prelude will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at All Saints Cathedral with services following at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Western Cemetery No. 1.
She is survived by her husband, Justin Harrigan Sr.; children, Corey Gifft Sr. and Jacques Harley; sisters, Inez Dixon and Lillian Garfield; brothers, Ramon, Rudolph, Victor Sr. and the Rev. Liston Garfield; grandchildren, Terra Corey Jr. and Noah Gifft; adopted sister, Valencia Dennery David; adopted brothers, Alphonso "Sonny" Smith and Jim Nabors; aunts, Utah Pickering and Mercedes Williams; uncles, Euclind McBean and John, Rudolph and Theodore Faulkner; daughter-in-law, Dudliena Gifft; father-in-law, Amos Harrigan; stepson, Justin Harrigan Jr.; stepdaughters, Monica Harrigan and Jeanette Harrigan-Braxton; brothers-in-law, Lawrence Hodge, Liston Lewis, Austin Harrigan, Basil Harrigan, Byron Harrigan and Larry Dixon; and sisters-in-law, Maude Colbourne, Wilma Fredricks, Carmen Wheatley, Yvonne Garfield, Alda Garfield, Winifred Garfield and Jacqueline Garfield.
Arrangements are by Turnbull's Funeral Home.
Caroline Phillips
Services will be held Saturday for Caroline Phillips, 83, who died October 12, 2009, in St. Thomas.
The first viewing will be from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. The second viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Jost Van Dyke Methodist Church with services at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Jost Van Dyke Public Cemetery.
Ferry transportation will be provided by Road Town Fast Ferry. The boat will leave Red Hook at
8 a.m., then stop in St. John and then on to Jost Van Dyke. Following the service, the boat will depart from Jost Van Dyke at 5 p.m.
She is survived by her sons, Terrance "Tempy" Phillips Jr., Orvin "Bam" Phillips, Theodore "Teddy" Phillips; daughters, Zephyra Illidge, Theresa Baptiste, Theolinda "Tootie/Theo" Francis; stepdaughter, Gail Rogers; brother, Eldred Graham; sister, Iantha Hodge; grandchildren, Kisha Phillips-Registe, Carolyn Phillips-Lettsome, Seymour Leonard, Michael, Kevin and Marlon Baptiste, Neal Francis Jr., Sholome and Shomoi Francis, Ivan Bernard, Frank Perez, Rehalio Illidge, Linda Williams-McKay, Michael Illidge, Skeeter Jones, Jeanelle, Jonee and Theodore Phillips Jr.; adopted grandchildren, Jamal Brathwaite, Jermaine Henry; 32 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
