Emelda Mercedes Jackson
Services will be held Thursday for Emelda Mercedes Jackson, 75, of Work-and-Rest, St. Croix, who died Oct. 26, 2009, at Luis Hospital.
The viewing will be at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church with services at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at No. 280 Work-and-Rest, Christiansted.

Services will be held Friday for Alfred H. Lockhart, Sr., 82, who died on Oct. 29, 2009, at Schneider Hospital.
The first viewing will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Turnbull's Funeral Home. The second viewing will be from 7 to 8 a.m. Friday at Turnbull's Funeral Home with services following at 9 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Cathedral. Burial will be in Western Cemetery No. 1.

Ivan Medina
Ivan Medina, former resident of St. Thomas for more than 35 years, passed away in Muskogee, Okla., on July 9, 2009.
Ivan is survived by his sons, Ian and Brian; daughters, Sally Anne and Jo-Anne; brother, Deacon Austin Medina (St. Thomas); sister, Margaret (Trinidad); daughter-in-law, Kiana; sister-in-law, Aideen; grandchildren, Toni Marie, Sylvanie, Ian Dante and Ian Clive; great-grandson, Trevante Maxwell; nieces, Gloria Als, Anne Marie Medina, Patricia Joseph, Elizabeth Hart, Angela Bryan, Jackie Saltus, Marlene Medina and Sharon Medina; nephews, Melvin Latiff, Clive Latiff and Jeffrey Medina and many friends, especially Caroline Dawson and Jerry Bryan, and his faithful Coki Beach "posse."
A memorial Mass to celebrate Ivan's life will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 at Holy Family Church, Estate Tutu.
