Alpine official defends plants
Virgin Islands residents have an opportunity at hand to improve the quality of life in significant ways. The proposed Alpine facilities will divert trash from landfills, reduce air emissions associated with the generation of electric energy, utilize water resources that are normally wasted, all while reducing the cost of electricity in the Virgin Islands. These facilities will employ state-of-the-art systems that the U.S. EPA must approve or Alpine will not receive the permits to build the projects. »
