Three Kings Day barbecue
The annual Three Kings Day barbecue at CMCArts, 10 Strand St./62 King St., Frederiksted, will be held on Saturday in the courtyard, with shaded viewing on King Street of this year’s combined Adults’ and Children’s Parade. The barbecue and parade seating are free to members. Memberships will be available for purchase on site that day. Come early and secure a street-side seat in the shade to view the parade. This is a potluck event and guests are asked to bring either a pasta salad, green salad, your favorite mac and cheese or rice and beans. CMCArts will provide hamburgers, hot dogs and veggie burgers, chips, potato salad and coleslaw.
Tonight from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., CMCArts will host the opening of an exhibit of the works of John Obafemi Jones in the Upstairs Gallery and the original art of the 2018 Island Art & Soul Calendar in the Downstairs Gallery. Enjoy music by Stell and Snuggs and students of the West End Music Institute Jazz Ensemble. There will be a cash bar. Sunset Series Music Concert
The Caravelle Hotel and Casino will hold a Sunset Series Music Concert on Saturday from 6 p.m. to midnight, a block party featuring free music by St. Croix’s Electric Andy and Fran Cosmo, formerly of Boston.
Scavenger hunt and more
Island Vibes Summer Camp announces the fundraising #HurricaneFit Scavenger Hunt, Pig Roast and Volleyball Tournament on Jan. 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cove Pool at Yacht Haven Grande. Bordeaux Farmers food fair
