Yuck it up at The Meat Up in Market Square East on St. Thomas for an open mic comedy night tonight from 8 p.m. to midnight, hosted by Lucas Warford.
Burgers and dogs
Bushwackers on St. Thomas will host a Fourth of July party Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. The first 50 customers will receive a complimentary burger or hot dog. Music will be provided by DJ Cypha. An outside bar will be open and Donuts by And Donutz will be available. Wearing a mask is requested.
The Pelican Shop will hold its Cigar Social Saturday 4th of July Edition from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Join fellow cigar lovers for a night of socializing and music. The event will follow social distancing guidelines.
Clearing for a ‘paws’
The Humane Society of St. Thomas encourages volunteers to come out and help with cutting and clearing bush on the new trail above their main campus, the lower trail, the off-leash land and the puppy play yard Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Be sure to wear long pants, sturdy shoes, gloves and eye protection.
Saje Sanctuary will host a cymatic sound bath session Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Cymatics explores the impact of sound waves on the body. Bring everything you’ll need to be comfortable for two hours, including a yoga mat, pillow, socks, water and eye mask. Session is $20 per person. Call 340-775-7253 for details.
Paragon Promotions presents the Hibiskiss Pool Party Saturday from 4 p.m. to midnight at a private villa location on St. Croix. Enjoy music by Supa Trakz and Big Kat Soundz. There will be temperature screening at entry. Tickets are $20 via eventbrite.com Directions will be sent the morning of the event.
Party on the beach
There will be live music on the sands at Honeymoon Beach, St. John, on Saturday to celebrate the July 4 holiday. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with Mother Goose USVI. Food and drinks will be available for sale. Call 340-779-2155 to reserve a golf cart shuttle to the beach.
