Full Body Evangelistic revival tonight

The Full Body Evangelistic Pentecostal Church invites the public to its final night of revival services, tonight beginning at 7:30 nightly. Guest speaker will be Bishop Sam Smith III of Mt. New Beginning ‘Free Fashion Giveaway’

New Beginning Christian Fellowship will give away pre-loved fall clothing for men, women and children beginning at 9 a.m. today in the Four Winds Plaza parking lot, next to Furniture World, St. Thomas. Back to School Day of Prayer and outreach

V.I. Mothers Against Guns, Inc., in conjunction with Sounds of Jubilee Ministries and the St. Thomas/St. John Fellowship of Pastors, will sponsor the Back to School Day of Prayer and Blessing Outreach on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Emancipation Garden on St. Thomas. Prayers will be offered up for students, teachers, faculty, support staff, educational personnel, and families in the territory. This event is open to the public.

Bahá’í Center to host gathering Sunday

Recent tragic events here at home, in the United States and abroad are reminders of the fleeting nature of our lives. In anticipation of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh, the prophet founder of the Bahá’í faith, whose mission was to inaugurate a new era of peace and unity, the Bahá’ís of St. Thomas will host a gathering focused on creating a world where every life matters. The event will take place at the Bahá’í Center on Crown Mountain on Sunday at 3 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. All faith communities and people interested in promoting peace and unity are welcome. Cruz Bay Baptist celebrates 64 years

The Cruz Bay Baptist Church on St. John invites the community to join it in its 64th anniversary celebration. Festivities begin on Wednesday and Thursday, with evening services beginning at 7. An Anniversary Gala will take place on Sept. 9 at the Westin Resort from 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $75 and available at Shani’s Hair Salon and Chelsea’s Drug Store on St. John. The St. Croix Council of Elders holds a Healing Heart Gathering on the last Sunday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Frederiksted Community Garden. The community is invited to join them to promote peace, harmony and healing, for the island and the world.
