Broadway-themed worship at St. Thomas Reformed
St. Thomas Reformed Church, corner of Crystal and Nye, will hold a worship service at 9 a.m. Sunday. Join them for Broadway-themed worship services throughout the month of July: this week, “Wicked.” Activity time is available for children under 10. Nursery is available for children under 3. St. Luke’s Episcopal to hold beach service Sunday
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church’s annual Beach Service and Picnic will take place on Sunday beginning at 9 a.m. at Smith Bay Park on St. Thomas. There will be no regular service at the church. Visitors and friends are welcomed. Please follow the rules and regulations as set forth by the management of the park.
Seventh-day Adventist Church to hold outreach
The Philadelphia Seventh-day Adventist Church will hold an event, “Reaching Out,” and offer free food, clothing, health screening and prayer to those in need on Sunday at 9 a.m. at Mandela Circle on St. Thomas, across from Giant Gas.
Jehovah’s Witnesses begin regional conventions
Jehovah’s Witnesses will hold their three-day regional convention on three consecutive weekends in July at their Assembly Hall in Frederiksted. The theme of the convention is Don’t Give Up! (No Se Rinda!) The entire program can be found on jw.org/publications. The first in the series will be held in Spanish on today and Sunday. The second and third will be held in English on July 21-23 and July 28-30.
All three conventions will present the identical program.
The meetings are open to the public and no collections are ever taken.
A Bible Study and Prayer Meeting at Walker by the Sea, Lindberg Bay, St. Thomas, meets each Tuesday and Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. Topics will include salvation, faith healing and deliverance. The group also will pray for the sick. For more information, call 340-643-7141 or 340-643-7901.
The St. Croix Council of Elders holds a Healing Heart Gathering on the last Sunday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Frederiksted Community Garden. The community is invited to join them to promote peace, harmony and healing, for the island and the world.
