Rotaract Club of St. Thomas II members Jamecha Herman, from left, Shamari Skelton, Julien Smith Jr., Director Akil King, Jevanna Augustine and Dante Morton are all smiles even after working in the hot sun reinforcing the club’s motto of having fun through service. The club members lent a needed helping paw to Lucky Paws Foundation’s Cat Cafes cleanup day in July. Rotaract is sponsored by the Rotary Club of St. Thomas II and serves as a platform for young adults (ages 18-30) to develop leadership and professional skills of management and teamwork through community service. Lucky Paws Foundation is a volunteer-run 501c3 rescue and resource organization that provides free and low-cost spay/neuter services to end the killing of healthy and adoptable animals.
