St. Thomas Cub Scouts tour fire station

Cub Scouts tour fire station

The U.S. Virgin Islands Fire Service gave Cub Scouts from all three St. Thomas packs a guided tour of the downtown Charlotte Amalie fire station recently. Scouts had a chance to speak with the firefighters of Hotel Company, explore the firefighting equipment and climb aboard a fire engine. The visit fulfills one of the requirements for the Tiger Safe and Smart, Wolf Hometown Heroes, Bear Paws for Action, and Webelos First Responder adventure loops. The tour unexpectedly ended a little early when firefighters were called out on a real emergency.
