The Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (ASPR), an association of in-house physician recruitment professionals, has announced that Keith A. James, physician recruiter, has earned the FASPR credential as a Fellow of the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters.

The program is the most comprehensive, authoritative resource for individuals seeking to develop and test their skills and knowledge within a broad spectrum of topics including physician/provider recruitment, onboarding and retention, human resources, and relevant legal issues.

Keith is reportedly the first physician recruiter in the U.S. Virgin Islands to earn this credential and has been essential to the successful recruitment of talented medical staff members at Luis Hospital (JFL) over the last two years. Previously, he managed the fiscal, administrative and government relations functions of the Chief Executive Officer’s Office as well as developed and implemented marketing and public relations initiatives as the executive assistant to the chief executive officer at JFL He is actively involved in the Virgin Islands Future Business Leaders of America state chapter as an executive council member, volunteer for the annual March of Dimes Walk-A-Thon and has played a major role in organizing district and state FBLA conferences for over 15 years. He is a member of the National Academies Foundation Advisory Board — St. Croix District. He is also a trainer with the Northeast ADA Trainer Network.
