TORTOLA — As the novel coronavirus spread across the Caribbean with just the Turks and Caicos Islands, Anguilla, St. Kitts-Nevis and the British Virgin Islands yet to report a case, the territory sealed its borders Sunday.

Following a special Cabinet meeting on Sunday, Premier Andrew Fahie announced that all airports and seaports in the territory are closed to inbound passengers — whether nationals or non-nationals — until 11:59 p.m. Monday, April 6, except as pre-authorized.
