ST. THOMAS — Two of the three former Schneider Hospital executives convicted of embezzlement and fraud remain free on post-conviction appeal bonds, and Attorney General Denise George has asked the Supreme Court to order the men to begin immediately serving their prison sentences.

At sentencing on Dec. 13, V.I. Superior Court Judge Michael Dunston ordered Amos Carty Jr. and Peter Najawicz to serve one-year prison terms for their role in a conspiracy with former Chief Executive Office Rodney Miller Sr. to embezzle more than $3 million from the St. Thomas hospital.
