President Donald Trump’s decision to divert nearly $4 billion from military construction projects to his proposed U.S.-Mexico border wall will reportedly impact three maintenance projects of the V.I. National Guard.

In a statement Wednesday, V.I. Delegate to Congress Stacey Plaskett said the reprogramming of $3.6 billion from the Pentagon’s coffers to shore up the funding for a border wall is “troubling” and will impact “approximately three maintenance projects” in the V.I. National Guard.
