Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. announces new steps to contain the transmission of COVID-19 on Thursday.

ST. THOMAS — Hoping to stay ahead of a looming coronavirus outbreak, Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. on Thursday announced a new set of measures to contain transmission and isolate the vulnerable.

Speaking at a press briefing at the University of the Virgin Islands on St. Thomas, Bryan said the territory — which now has three confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 21 individuals pending results — must “stay on the offense” in order to prevent any spread.
