Celebration of lasting ties
A large crowd gathers Saturday at the Grand Friendship Village at the D.C. Canegata Ball Park as Puerto Rico-Virgin Islands Friendship Day festivities continued on St. Croix. The village was named in honor of Mirza Saldana-Lampe, a longtime educator and a member of the Friendship Committee for many years.
