Free concert: St. Croix Central High School will hold a free concert, “Golden Christmas,” featuring “Golden Voices” at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Sunny Isle Amphitheater.

Saturday, Dec. 14

Christiansted Boat Parade: The annual Boat Parade will start at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the harbor at the Christiansted boardwalk.

Sunday, Dec. 15

Soca Monarch preliminary: The V.I. Festival committee will hold the Soca Monarch preliminary at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Starlight lounge in La Grande Princesse.

Blakie tribute: The V.I. Carnival Committee will hold a tribute for the late Kenneth “Lord Blakie” Blake at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Lionel Roberts Stadium featuring local dignitaries, calypsonians, Rising Stars Steel Orchestra, Carnival troupes, kings and queens as well as representatives from the departments of Tourism, Public Works and Sports, Parks and Recreation. Roosevelt Park tree lighting: The 23rd annual Roosevelt Park Tree Lighting will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Entertainment includes School groups as well as Dub Lab Ban, When de Band and Full Circle.

Cultural Night: Louis Taylor and the Caribbean Connection will be the featured entertainment at cultural night from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Roosevelt Park. Local choirs and dancers will also entertain. Food and drinks will be on sale. Don’t forget to bring a chair.

Holiday concert: Charlotte Amalie High School presents “Do You Hear What I Hear” at 6 p.m. at the school auditorium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
