The federal National Marine Fisheries Service has approved Coral World’s permit application to import two dolphins from a facility in Bermuda, but there is still significant work to be done before the animals can be transferred to the territory.

“This is just one more step,” Coral World’s chief curator Lee Kellar said Wednesday. “There’s a ton of other permits that fall into line behind this one.”
