ST. CROIX — Two Greek companies associated with the oil tanker Ocean Princess and three of its senior officers have been found to have violated pollution laws.

Lily Shipping, the ship’s owner, and Ionian Shipping & Trading, the ship’s operator, were each fined $1.5 million and placed on four years of probation and ordered to implement an environmental compliance plan for violating the Air Pollution Act, according to U.S. Attorney Gretchen Shappert.
