The U.S. Interior Department has announced that it will sign over $258,375,000 to the Virgin Islands in rum tax cover-over payments for the estimated fiscal year 2020 rum tax collections.

In a statement, Interior Assistant Secretary Doug Domenech said he expects the funds to be available this week.
