Keeping pets disease free
Several residents line up Saturday with their pets at the free dog clinic hosted by Ruff Start/ West End Dog Clinic in Frederiksted, St. Croix. The clinic aims to keep animals and their families healthy. To that end, Bethany Bradford and Ashely Massa, both veterinarians, offer free consultations, free vaccines, and free heartworm tests at the clinic.

Volunteer Becky Guptan offers some TLC to two puppies on Saturday. The West End Dog Clinic is run entirely by volunteers and the free clinic is held the first Saturday of each month. Now on its 10th clinic, services are funded by donations from residents.
