The Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded a $10.5 million grant to St. Croix’s Luis Hospital to begin designing a long-awaited permanent hospital rebuild.

According to a statement, the $10,522,100 in federal funding will go toward selecting an architect engineering firm to conduct “facility master planning studies and design phase services.”
