The Christiansted National Historic Site has been awarded funding to repaint the road striping and traffic markings on Hospital Street, King Street, Company Street and the loop road in front of the Scale House and King Christian Hotel on St. Croix.

Work will begin on Monday and continue through Nov. 15. Some street-side parking will be limited during repainting, and temporary lane shifts may occur.

Work will be performed Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. No weekend work is anticipated. The National Park Service also anticipates no full closures to traffic, but vehicles may be limited to one lane. Safety devices and flaggers will be on the site.
