ST. THOMAS — Several vessels were blown ashore on St. Thomas by Hurricane Dorian, and the owner of the 40-foot sailboat Morningstar said she was heartbroken to see photos of her beloved boat damaged by the storm.

“She lived over in the Charlotte Amalie bay for a long time, she had a lot of different owners,” Madeline Flowerpot said Friday of the 1967 Cheoy Lee yawl. “It’s just a bummer because she was such a beautiful boat, a real antique that had lasted so long. So, it is pretty devastating to see where she is now.”
