ST. THOMAS — The Virgin Islands Public Services Commission voted Thursday to censure member Johann Clendenin for reportedly misrepresenting himself and slandering the commission in a series of dissenting opinions published in the media.

The vote, which followed a 90-minute, closed-door executive session on St. Thomas, had commissioners David Hughes, Raymond Williams Jr. and Andrew Rutnik voting in the affirmative to not only suspend Clendenin, but recommend to the governor to remove him from his post.
