ST. THOMAS — The V.I. Public Services Commission has declined to change the territory’s utility rates — for now.

On Thursday, during a PSC regular meeting, PSC commissioners agreed that the V.I. Water and Power Authority’s Levelized Energy Adjustment Clause, or fuel charge, should remain the same until a hearing examiner finishes a “base rate investigation” by year’s end.
