Protesting violence

Participants of “Twin City Against Violence” hold a unity circle to end the anti-violence gathering Thursday night in Frederiksted, St. Croix.

ST. CROIX — Community members gathered Thursday night, taking a stand against a series of violent incidents throughout St. Croix.

“We have all heard of or witnessed first-hand the violent events happening in our community,” said Lamarr Jacob, founder of Lamarr Jacobs Community Foundation. “We all know people who were injured physically or affected emotionally and it is up to us to really step up and make a difference.”
