Wednesday

The Finance Committee will meet at 10 a.m. at the V.I. Cardiac Center at Luis Hospital on St. Croix to consider lease agreements and bills including “an act amending Title 3, Virgin Islands Code, chapter 27, section 715, subsection (b) paragraph (7) to require the Government Employees’ Retirement System to seek the Legislature’s approval before implementation of any policy that impacts the members’ benefits.”

Thursday

The Rules and Judiciary Committee will meet at 10 a.m. at Ottley Legislative Hall on St. Thomas to consider bills relating to dental therapy and the composition of the Board of Dental Examiners .

The Committee will also consider a bill that requires the V.I. government to enter into contracts before June 1 of each year in preparedness for hurricane season or any emergency or major disaster.

Friday

Lawmakers will convene a Legislative Session at 10 a.m. at Ottley Legislative Hall on St. Thomas to consider a bevy of lease agreements and bills. Notable bills will include a bill to enhance the Virgin Islands Emergency Management Plan and a bill requiring the V.I. government to enter into contracts before June 1 of each year in preparedness for hurricane season or any emergency or major disaster.
