ST. THOMAS — V.I. lawmakers passed more than 20 bills in session Monday, forwarding to the governor measures to fund the completion of the Paul E. Joseph Stadium on St. Croix, develop a floating water park on St. Thomas, and greenlight an assisted living facility on St. John.

The eight-hour session included the unanimous approval of Bill 33-0324, which authorizes the Bryan administration to receive a short-term loan or revenue anticipation note of a maximum $60 million to keep the government afloat amid the COVID-19 pandemic and declining revenues.
