This November, Virgin Islanders will have an opportunity to plant the seeds for a long-sought-after goal in the territory: a constitution.

With Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. signing into law Bill 33-0292 last week, voters in November’s General Election will now see a referendum question on their ballots, asking whether a constitutional convention should be called to adopt the Revised Organic Act of 1954 as the V.I. constitution.
