Officials are warning Virgin Islanders to be vigilant of a new storm that is gaining strength, and could approach the territory in the coming days.

Tropical Depression 10 is expected to strengthen into Tropical Storm Jerry and become a hurricane by Friday, but its projected path remains uncertain, according to a news release from the V.I. Territorial Emergency Management Agency.
