Nearly 2,000 territory businesses have received loans under the federal government’s Paycheck Protection Program, according to records obtained by The Daily News.
The 1,897 loans, administered by the U.S. Small Business Administration, were approved.
The records only name businesses that received more than $150,000. In the under-$150,000 class, 1,725 loans were made ranging between $42.92 to a sole proprietor on St. Thomas to $149,900 for a St. Thomas corporation with 20 employees.
