Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. announced this week that all prior and current bills owed to the V.I. Water and Power Authority by the central government have been fully paid as of July 30.

During a recent meeting of the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy group, Bryan told attendees that, in addition to paying outstanding debts of the central government, the administration paid WAPA the outstanding debts of Schneider and Luis hospitals, as well as the V.I. Waste Management Authority, according to a statement.
