Relatives and friends are advised of the passing of Anthony Cerge, also known as “Chester,” who died at his residence April 15, 2019, at the age of 87.

Anthony Cerge is survived by his spouse, Carol M. Cerge; children, Patrick A. Cerge, Kenneth Cerge, Lawrence A. Cerge, Noreen A. Cerge; daughters-in-law, Dora Cerge, Aurora Cerge; grandchildren, Earnest (PJ) DeLagarde, J’Etaime Cerge, Nicoya Cerge; great-grandchild, Zephyra DeLagarde; nephews, Harry J. Quetel, Rudolph Cerge, Gregory Cerge, Mark Cerge; nieces, Joan M. Andrusko, Doris M. Sewell, Dahlia Jackson, Doreen Rambert; sisters-in-law, Carmen Noel, Theresa Samuel, Margaret Hutchinson, Linda Moore, Elizabeth Wellington; brothers-in-law, Davidson Moore, Richard Moore, Peter Noel; and his beloved pooch “Candie.”

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the first viewing Wednesday, May 8, 2019, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Celestial Chapel, Dan Hurley Home for Funerals. A second viewing will take place Thursday, May 9, 2019, from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Celestial Chapel, Dan Hurley Home for Funerals. The Mass will follow at Ss. Peter and Paul Cathedral at 10 a.m.

Interment is at Western Cemetery No. 1.
