The Rev. Carlyle Ronald Blake, CSsR, died Thursday, April 18, 2019.

The funeral Mass will be held on St. Thomas, USVI.

The Rev. Carlyle Blake was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Viola Calistro-Blake; siblings, Thomas R. Blake, Eric W. A funeral mass was celebrated for the Rev. Carlyle Blake at St. John Neumann Residence, Stella Maris, Timonium, Md., on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Following the Mass, he was flown home to St. Thomas.

Fr. Blake will lie in state and Vespers will be held at Ss. Peter and Paul Cathedral from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 28. The second viewing is Monday, April 29, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Cathedral.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 29, at 10 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Cathedral, St. Thomas, USVI. Interment is at Western Cemetery No. 1.
