Relatives and friends are advised of the passing of Jules M. Olive, better known as “Marcel,” who passed away April 24, 2019, at residence at the age of 92.

Jules M. Olive was a proud veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Therese’ Olivier Olive; parents, Theodore and Louise Olive; brother, Victor Olive; and sisters, Theresa Aubain and Rita Gumbs.

Jules M. Olive is survived by his brother, Leopold Olive; in laws, Jean and Claudette Dompe (France); sons, Dominique Olive, Steven Olive, Christopher Olive; daughters-in-law, Virginia Olive, Carolyn Olive, Line Olive; grandchildren, Kimberley Olive, Timothy and Shelby Olive, Nicholas Olive, Danielle Olive, Michele’ Olive; special friend and adopted “daughter,” Cathy Querrard; and many other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the viewing Tuesday, May 7, 2019, from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. at Celestial Chapel of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals, with the Mass of Christian burial to follow at St. Anne’s Chapel at 10 a.m. Interment is at Western Cemetery No. 1.

Arrangements are under the care of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals and Cremation Center of St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix.
