The Economic Development Authority says it is welcoming potential business owners to information meetings on all three islands this week starting Tuesday. The EDA’s announcement promises that “attendees will also have opportunities to ask questions and speak one-on-one with VIEDA team members.”

Notice what the EDA did and did not say: People can ask, but the EDA did not promise to answer. In fact, the EDA is long overdue in providing answers to questions about its management decisions, operations, spending, hiring and its selection and handling of beneficiaries.
