Editor’s Note: Following is the writer’s appeal to the V.I. Public Works Department.

Dear Public Works,

Help. Help. Help.

We the motoring public hope you have a good “Plan B” for the even longer lines of cars you are causing now when you have planned to remove the traffic signals at the intersection of the “old fire station” on Veterans Drive (“End of Main Street road work delayed,” The Daily News, Dec. 3, 2019).

The lines are already miles long due to the closing of Main Street. I must say, this is the most NOT-so- brilliant plan of the year — and you claim this work is scheduled for the end of December.
