LIMA, Peru — The British Virgin Islands will begin its quest for the first Pan Am Games medal in its 36-year history of participation today, when track and field kicks off at the Parque Kennedy Stadium.

However, the BVI’s medal quest will start without the services of hurdler Kyron McMaster, who along with Chantel Malone and Eldred Henry are currently ranked among the world’s top 20 in their respective events.
