ST. THOMAS — Nevada head coach Steve Alford had one goal for his team for its trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands — win a tournament championship.
Well, the Wolf Pack are one game away from attaining that goal, advancing to the Paradise Jam finals with an 84-59 semifinal victory over Valparaiso on Sunday night at the University of the Virgin Islands’ Sports and Fitness Center.
