Nevada jams in paradise

ST. THOMAS — Nevada’s men’s basketball team checked off that third box for Steve Alford, and helped put his name in the record book.

The Wolf Pack claimed its first Paradise Jam tournament title Monday night, taking control early in a 77-62 victory over Bowling Green in the championship game at the University of the Virgin Islands’ Sports and Fitness Center.
