Arthur Richards Junior High School 4, John Woodson Junior High School 0: Khaleed Heywood scored twice as second-seeded Arthur Richards Junior High shut out No. 3 seed John Woodson Junior High in the semifinals of the St. Croix Interscholastic Athletic Association league tournament Tuesday at the Good Hope Country Day School field.

Aleak Miller and Marvinus Phillip each added a goal, and Nicholas Phillip got the shutout in goal for Richards Junior High.

Good Hope Country Day School 7, Elena Christian Junior High School 0: Khalil Francis scored three goals as the top-seeded Panthers shut out No. 4 seed Elena Christian Junior High in the St. Croix IAA league semifinals.

Finlay Miller added two goals, Wyatt Bracy and Jean Jacques Dongar had one goal each, and Joshua Rodgers got the shutout in goal for Good Hope Country Day.

What’s next: Richards Junior High will take on Good Hope Country Day at the U.S. Virgin Islands Soccer Association’s soccer complex. Game time is 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Antilles School Hurris 2, Antilles School Canes 0: Antilles School’s “A” team won in straight sets over its “B” team in Tuesday’s St. Thomas-St. John IAA league match, winning by scores of 15-12 and 15-13.

Calvary Christian Baptist School 2, Yvonne Bowsky Elementary School 0: Calvary Christian downed Bowsky Elementary in straight sets, winning by scores of 15-5 and 15-6.

Antilles School Hurris 2, Virgin Islands Montessori School Volts 1: The Hurris went to a third-set tiebreaker to beat Virgin Islands Montessori’s “B” team, winning by scores of 13-15, 15-11 and 15-5.

Lockhart Elementary School 2, Virgin Islands Montessori School Volts 0: The Dolphins downed Virgin Islands Montessori’s “B” team in straight sets, winning by scores of 15-10 and 15-11.

Yvonne Bowsky Elementary School 2, Virgin Islands Montessori School 1: Bowsky Elementary overcame a first-set loss to beat Virgin Islands Montessori in three sets, winning by scores of 12-15, 15-8 and 15-10.

What’s next: Five league matches are scheduled for today at Antilles School’s Mark C. Marin Center, beginning at 4 p.m.

On Court 1, Virgin Islands Montessori takes on Lockhart Elementary, then has a match against the Antilles School Hurris. Lockhart Elementary then closes out the day with a match against the Hurris.

On Court 2, Calvary Christian School takes on the Antilles School Canes, who then end the day with a match against the Virgin Islands Montessori Volts.
