Revival services set for Aug. 31-Sept. 2

The Full Body Evangelistic Pentecostal Church invites the public to three nights of revival services Aug. 31 to Sept. 2 at beginning at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Guest speaker will be Bishop Sam Smith III of Mt. Zion E.P.C. in St Maarten. The theme for this revival is “Contending for Revival.” The church is located adjacent to Lindquist beach in Smith Bay on St. Thomas. Look for the sign by the road. New Beginning hosts ‘Free Fashion Giveway’

New Beginning Christian Fellowship will give away pre-loved fall clothing for men, women and children beginning at 9 a.m. on Sept. 2 in the Four Winds Plaza parking lot, next to Furniture World, St. Thomas.

Back to School Day of Prayer Sept. 3

V.I. Mothers Against Guns, Inc., in conjunction with Sounds of Jubilee Ministries and the St. Thomas/St. John Fellowship of Pastors, will sponsor the Back to School Day of Prayer and Blessing Outreach on Sept. 3 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Emancipation Garden on St. Thomas. Prayers will be offered up for students, teachers, faculty, support staff, educational personnel, and families in the territory. This event is open to the public.

The groups also are urging parents, and particularly fathers, to take their children to school on the first day of school, and continue to contribute significantly to their children’s education throughout the school year.

‘Stand in Victory’ set for September
